Avast with Nero 2015 compatible?
« on: May 11, 2015, 09:15:05 PM »
Dear friends,

I have the old Avast 7 on my system. I have chosen it because of more functionality in the free version compared with the free version of the current Avast 2015...

I installed Nero 2015 on my system and updated it via Nero Update to the latest one. After that something strange happened - Avast 7 told me nero files are trojan horses and removed them to the container. Affected files are also .NET DLL files by Microsoft.

I reinstalled Windows twice now. The 1st time it happened once again, now i have Avast 2015 free, but still am unsure to install the latest Nero 2015 - installed Nero 10 instead. No problems here, but since Nero 2015 has been bought by me lately i wanna know what to do.

What DLL files in particular?

Btw, I'm not aware of any functionality having been removed from free (and moved to the paid versions), ever. Anything specific on your mind?

Sandbox and some other are available in Avast 7 free, but to have Sandbox in 2015 version you need to have Internet Security/Premier license.

As for Avast 7 and Nero 2015 I became aware it was the false definition update from your side. It should have been already fixed.

PS: I already have Avast 2015 here.
