I download  mac security and logged in and was sent a registration code but I can't see where "settings" tab is in order to insert the code??  And once the program finishes a scan will it delete threats automatically?  How do you delete infected files that aren't deleted automatically?   If file go into the shield are they neutralized?

There is no program registration in Avast Mac Security. There is a Avast account registration
that is required only if you want to use the "Avast account" features of the product. All the Avast
account related actions are done on the "account" GUI page, not in the preferences.
