Attention: Your computer is sluggish and running slowly!

I got a pop up saying Attention: Your computer is sluggish and running slowly what could I do to fix this without buying avast?

Disable the smart scan so you wont see again and use CCleaner to clean up your system and to view unnecessary startups.

settings/general scroll down to smartscan and disable.

Hi timmymac98 :)

Two options :

- Open the Avast! user interface, and go to : Settings - General - Smart Scan - Grimefighter - Off.

- Or deinstall Grimefighter :

1) Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Avast! - Change.
2) Change.
3) Uncheck Grimefighter.
4) Continue.
5) Reboot.
