Web Shied Exclusions via the portal
« on: May 21, 2015, 01:19:51 AM »
Hello All,

Is there any way to add url links to the Web Shield exclusions list via the portal.

I'm trying deploy this to all the PC's in the network via the portal to avoid adding it to each individual client.

Thanks.

Hi Carlos,

When you log in select network>settings>default(or the template you are using)>advanced and under antivirus settings you can add exclusions for the different components.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks!

Jeff

Thanks issue resolved.

Apparently the "avast! Web/Mail Shield Root" (using the business version) is issuing outdated sha1 certificates causing Chrome to flag websites as "affirmatively insecure" and the https part of the URL for such sites will be displayed crossed out in red type with an X over the lock icon to indicate that the site is insecure.

This sites are truly secure and using sha2 certificates.

I had to add the url to the exclusion list and they are all now coming back with green locks.

Thanks for the hep!
