Avast Shields Controls
« on: May 22, 2015, 12:28:05 AM »
Hello Again,

Is there any way to disable changing the avast shield control on end point devices.

I've added urls to the site blocking side of the avast portal but notice all that needs to be done on the end users device to by pass this is to disable avast or the shields control.

Is there anyway to prevent settings changes on the end point device? Specifically the "Avast Shields Controls".

Thanks.

If you mean you want to lock the policy to prevent users making changes, I don't think that's possible at the moment, except for using the Password Protection features under the General Settings tab.

Hmm, why don't you setup the clients correctly ?
Why do you let users change things that you don't want them to change ?

Thanks GFM for the added information. I went ahead and set the "Password Protection".
