Receiving two confirmation links

After I added to my avast a secondary email address, for this secondary email address I have received two confirmation link emails. Why does it happened? Is this a sign I should worry about the security of this email address? How can this be fixed?

I could be you click the "submit" button twice without noticing it.
Are the two mails exactly the same ?
What happens if you confirm the change through the first mail ?
