FIREWALL not showing

I do hope someone can help me, when I go to scan and also check my settings, no firewall is showing up.    I pay a good amount a year for protection from Avast, where do I find out about my firewall please.

Repair Avast:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Avast
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions..!!)
3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.

HELP ME PLEASE..    I have downloaded avast again, followed your instructions, now it is asking for
activation code or licence file... how do I get that ??  I have looked all through my paperwork and cannot see any of that info.
