Renewal of Avast Premier 2015

I am 72 years old, and I know this is a remedial question - sorry. My Avast Premier 2015 subscription expires on 6-23-15. My Account information shows (under the expiration date) that "This license has an auto-renewal subscription." Does this mean that BOTH the subscription for the anti-virus program AND the license will automatically renew, or just the license? I don't want my protection to expire. Do I need to do something?

The license and the subscription are essentially one and the same.

Payment would be requested on your payment method - once received your license should be automatically renewed.

You should receive an email with the payment/receipt details and I believe your new license if it hasn't been applied you can use this license file. Logon to your my.avast.com account after payment is made and I believe you should see details of the new license/subscription.

I'm sorry I can't give more detailed information as I'm using avast free, so I can't speak from personal experience.
