Grimefighter locked mouse and keyboard
« on: June 26, 2015, 10:04:13 PM »
Just installed grimefighter all seemed fine and dandy... Aside from the fact on boot my mouse and keyboard no longer work. Can't get the drivers reinstalled because I have no way of navigating to the files

Via generic USB ports on the motherboard. I am running windows 7 using a i7 3.5 ghz prc , Asus Maximus vii hero 16 g ram and 2tb hd. I'm using a generic gaming keyboard and a g700 mouse. The USB ports are working because the mouse led light that show charging are working and when I reboot the pc the lights on the keyboard are on but once windows boots neither work

If the lights goes on it only means the mouse/keyboard is getting power.
It doesn't mean there is any data transfer.

Try this:
Boot the system and wait e.g 15 minutes.
Disconnect the keyboard, wait 5 minutes.
Connect the keyboard to a other usb port.

The waiting times are just to make sure Windows can (or perhaps I would say should) notice something is changed and act accordingly.

The other usb port will tell (or at least should) tell Windows there is a "new" device attached and Window should install the drivers for it and configure them.

I can't promise this will work, but let's see what happens.
