When opening Quicken Home & Business 2015, the Windows busy icon appears and stays. The Task Manager application list shows Quicken as 'not responding' and the Processes list shows avast as the highest cpu burner at 13% on an Intel i7 cpu. My solution so far has been to exclude the Quicken data subdirectory in the c:\[name]\user subdirectory. Quicken then opens quickly with this exclusion. I am not sure which Quicken file avast is hanging on, and I would like to have a better solution.
