If questions posed are not related to avast issues or avast technical problems, then it is spam.  Which is why think first is best advice given.

In Avast! Forum, can the user having username with abbreviations being offensive (such as "wtf", "gtfo", "stfu" and the like) be likewise banned?

This is a support forum first and foremost, not and exam or a school - many people do not have English as their first language and you don't know that.

I have the greatest respect for those who do not have English as their first language and even more so writing/typing in English in the forums. You don't even know if people are using on-line translations that are notorious for grammatical errors.

The point is to help and not chastise in a support forum and those that do will come in for their own grief.

If this is the type of post you made in the other forum you got banned at, it makes some degree of sense. This is not a chat room but a support forum.
