Battery icon
« on: June 15, 2015, 03:15:06 PM »
What happens if the battery icon is hidden?
As far as I know (not really much) the icon in the notification bar keeps the app running with an higher priority. Will ABS be terminated occasionally if it is disabled?

I find a little bit hard to read the tiny number and also I don't like the idea of having two icons delivering the same info.

thanks

Hi Lorenzo,

you're right, the app runs with higher priority when the icon is on. If the icon is not there, it can happen that system will kill it occasionally, when it has low memory.

If you have a good device with lot of memory and it seems that everything is fine even without the icon, you can disable it from the three-dot menu on home screen.
