Avast shields cause malformed packets
« on: June 08, 2015, 12:16:09 AM »
Hi!

I ran into an issue that having other than the filesystem shield enabled causes packet corruption in some less used applications. F.ex. telnet remotehost 3268 caused tshark to show malformed packets when Firewall shield was up. Also, having any other shield than filesystem shield up breaks ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computer) add-on. F.ex. you can no longer see user's pre-windows 2000 domain name, or edit domain properties and other functionalities break down as well.

So far I've been able to get things working only by disabling other shields than file system shield. Any ideas how to debug further?

OS: Windows 8.1
Program version: 2015.10.2.2218
Virus definitions version: 150607-1
