Use of internet very slow

Hi.

I'm not very happy to have evolved my version of AVAST.

Since the installation of Avast IS 2015 (Windows XP  :-\), the use of internet is very slow (Web, email pop, etc.), especially when using Google services (google-translate for instance).

Is there a solution?

What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or did you have)

Installation without uninstalling Avast 8.
