Grimefighter has completely blocked my PC
« on: July 01, 2015, 08:08:13 PM »
How can I get Grimefighter removed from my PC?  I have waited all day for Avast to do something and just keep being sent useless information.  I cannot boot my PC - I am unable to get past the Grimefighter screen upon starting it.  Help!

Run GrimeFighter again and have it undo the changes it made.

Thank you but I can't get into my PC to do anything - as soon as i switch on the PC Grimefighter kicks in, goes through several stages of the process and then tells me it needs to abort and that I need to shutdown or reboot and on taking either of these actions nothing changes - it just starts up all over again.

Is there an 'F' key I can start to just restore the PC to the factory settings?

Thanks.

I suggest you contact your computer manufacturers website and see if you can get the information from there.
