FYI, when I disable the webshield I get access to the internet such as this page

Is there a file called additions.txt on your desktop ?  As that is the one I need.

MBAM is paid. The additions.txt would not come up. I could not select the box

Now that box can be checked. when i ran the second scan one yesterday and then today the addition.txt could not be checked. now before another scan it appears

OK could you temporarily stop MBAM from starting with windows

And then reboot and let me know if access is now possible

FYI i can access the internet I turned off the avast web blocker as well as MBAM at start up as you stated.

I turned off the web shield on avast for one hour. Do you want me to try to run the internet with the MBAM turned off as state by you and keep the web shield on
