I recently applied an update to Xamarin on my Mac when Avast decided that the Xamarin platform installer (for a Mac) contained Win32:Evo-gen and promptly blocked access to the installer and screwed my installation.
I'm pretty sure its a false positive, so please Avast people can you sort it out?
