« on: July 07, 2015, 12:56:27 PM »
Hi experts,

I keep having Avast popup with blocked webpage notifications, which from looking into this forum appears to be an issue lot of people are facing. Since the solution is tailored to each individual, I have posted my test results as per the forum sticky. Would really appreciate help from one of you kind folks..

This should stop it

CAUTION :  This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Quote
CreateRestorePoint:
EmptyTemp:
CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
