Directory Scan
« on: November 11, 2005, 05:25:19 PM »
My avast database is current as of one hour ago, and I decided to run a scan on a new directory of music ripped to mp3 format from some CDs. Folder properties indicates 828 items, but the scan showed 933 items scanned. Why would this happen?
TIA

Maybe the processes running were included into the scanned files.
Maybe any archive file there (*.zip, *.cab, *.arj...).

Thank you. As I watched the file names being displayed I couldn't see anything but the expected ones - no processes, etc.
