Msn messenger 7.5 slow in the first opening chat window with avast!

I have msn messenger 7.5 with a lot of winks and emoticons, with mess.be patch, msgplus and stuffplug, in 2 pc. My friends have it too, and everyone noticed that the first time a chat is opened the pc is veeeery slow to open the chat window cause a kind of scan of avast. I tried to disable istant messaging module and set the protection on normal, and not high. But it's till the same problem, it causes a delay of 1 minute the first time a window chat is opened by me or some contact. This problem does affect all the friends of mine that have this config.
What's the problem, how to fix it?

Hi gorro.
(1.)Have you tried Pausing/terminating the Avast! Instant messenger provider (module) ? What difference do you notice with MSN messenger's loading time ?
This problem does affect all the friends of mine that have this config.
I take it you all have changed to Avast! recently ? It's kind off hard to know what your saying
