Exclusions (folders) set in General Settings are lost
« on: August 25, 2015, 06:59:03 AM »
Hi. Me and my colleagues have the following problem: we set up in the past (e.g. a week ago) a couple of excluded folders in Settings:General:Exclusions.
But when checking after a few days, the folders that we entered are no longer there, they disappeared and we have to set them again.
I suspect they were lost either on system restart or during one Avast program update from the last days.
Because without restart since yesterday the settings were kept correctly until today.
Any idea how to make then stick ?

Program version: Avast Business Security, v 2015.10.2.2505
OS: Win8.1 and Win10.

You need to apply the settings globally from the web menu, not locally to individual computers.

Thank you. Wasn't aware that the settings are duplicated in the web management page.
We added there and they synched fine.
For now it looks ok. Let's see if they disappear (I read some other posts that they aren't kept after restart or a few days) even is set here.
