whats up with avast! NG command-line tool
« on: April 10, 2015, 10:34:45 AM »
with last update avast! NG command-line tool was removed & replaced with second AvastUI (avast! NG command-line tool was never running or was removed, cause i never so it running), new with new update i have 2 avast! NG command-line tool & one of them takes over 200MB ram & second a lot less, well the one with over 200MB runs for 5min max after win opened, did not count the time, & my Disk usage was high quite some time, its second update sins 2015 release for free ver, it was better on release & even better with last update what was first, the high disk & ram usage is not forever, but still i find it bad, who knows what else mite trigger second avast! NG command-line tool with high ram usage & high disk usage, gamers always avoid programs with background process with high CPU or/& RAM usage, even if they have a lot of CPU & RAM, cause u never know when u need it, i hope it does not become a issue, that its only start-up Thing/Issue or first time Thing/Issue, almost forgot, not just the tool was gone, but before this update the hole NG service was gone, this update restored NG service, instead of NG service AvastUI was running

new after 30min i looked again & the one avast! NG command-line tool with low RAM usage dose not run anymore neither

PC Alienware x51 R2 Win 8.1

BDW the notifications connected with business, i don't need them, cause is am home user with this PC, & i don't have any business/company, maybe avast team can turn it of for my user from ur server? :), unless its programmed in to avast to show all advertisement & u don't have control over it? its not huge issue, but i don't need that type advertisement

also after update i got this events:
1. 10:56am
Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on the Shadow Copy Provider {b5946137-7b9f-4925-af80-51abd60b20d5}. Routine returned E_INVALIDARG. Routine details GetSnapshot({00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000},000000653CA17C60).

2. 11:02am
Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on the Shadow Copy Provider {b5946137-7b9f-4925-af80-51abd60b20d5}. Routine returned E_INVALIDARG. Routine details GetSnapshot({00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000},0000006E5148ACE0).

3. 12:36pm
Scoping unsuccessful for shadowcopy \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy8 with error 0x80070057.

i hope this are 1 time things, cause it would be bad if it messes with sys restore

my time zone UTC + 02:00, current time 14:59pm

the strange thing is, i got the crash first time 2 days ago, so can it really be issue with protection mode then?

crash report ID: 3d0202b9-669c-4cc1-a0ac-6ba582150411
no idea does this link show u more details, or will it start loading ur information
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/3d0202b9-669c-4cc1-a0ac-6ba582150411

i have firefox, but does chrome build has its own protection mod? asking cause in my old PC when i had chrome i never so flash running, like in older fox years ago

is it really a good idea to disable protection mode if its meant to boost security?

did avast team disabled NG again? or is it glitch caused by update? i ask cause its not running, that + virtualbox, avast & avast service are only processes from avast that are running, after boot (what was after restart, i mean updated restart) virtualbox started running again
