Very frustrated! I feel like Avast is holding my computer hostage when it decides to run some unknown program in the background. Can't i.d. the function. Can't pause it to do other work or watch a movie. Can't shut the process down. Can't do anything! I got an old school Compaq working Windows 7, 2 gigs of memory (back in the day that was crazy memory), Intel dual cpu, got my Windows Defender and Windows Firewall turned off and it still drags its feet when Avast decides to go 50cent on me 3 or 4 times out the day, an hour at a time. Someone Help!
