Security center in sp2 don't see avast!

Hi.
My security center don't see avast as antivirus.
I try to un-install and instal avast but it not work.
In another systems what I install is ok.
It is possible that I have windows about 3 years and I install SP1 and SP2 when I have AVAST! before then security center don't see it?
This is not to important. Avast work great. But why it happend?

Do you have or did you have another av on that system? If so which one?
Tried a repair of Avast?

Before Avast! I had many antiviruses. Norton, MksVir and more. I don't remember all . I use Avast about year but with another avtiviruses I work abous 2 years.

I tried to reinstall, repair. But it not work.

1) Remove Avast

3) Reboot
4) Install Avast

Could be because malware.

You might want to try this link for removing versions of Norton AntiVirus later than 2003:

SymNRT is a tool for removing NAV 2004/2005/2006 as well as some other Norton applications. This link also has additional instructions for removing the earlier versions.
