2 Questions about the new AMS version
« on: March 05, 2016, 02:28:15 PM »
I've been using Avast Mobile for a while now but i have 2 questins about the new version...

1.On the android settings, under Accounts, Avast is listed even though i haven't logged in with my account (or with google sign-in). If I click on it, there is only a ''Apps Data Sync'' messege and the option to remove account. Is this normal?

2.On the android settings again, inside Accesibility, under Services(or something like that - My phone language is not English), there is an Avast Mobile Security setting (disabled by default) and if i click on it, it looks like its the setting for the web shield. Do I need to activate it for the avast web shield to work? (If that's the case, it would be nice if future versions of Avast gave a notification when it's turned off.) Is Google Chrome Supported? (It's not mentioned...)

Thanks in advance :)

Hi.

1) Yes, that's absolutely normal.

2) You don't unless you have Android 6. In that case AMS will guide you through the activation process. And yes, Chrome is supported.
