Precautionary measures
« on: August 01, 2015, 01:27:33 AM »
Hello, all you wonderful people. This is one matter I'm a little nervous about, so instead of just jumping in, I wanted to ask some questions before I start. I recently got a new Samsung Galaxy phone with Nokia as my provider and it has Norton pre-installed on it. With some prior information, plus what I already know about Norton through personal encounter, I know that i need to get Norton out before putting Avast in. The last time I had to uninstall Norton was on a pc, with all the spread-out files and stuff in the registry. What do I need to do to remove Norton from my phone? And I mean all of it. Thoroughly.

My second issue is: Will Avast give my phone complete coverage and will it count toward my 3-PC subscription?

thanks in advance.

So it is free. Thanks. All that's left now is the question of coverage and how easy it is to remove Norton.
