ePocrates updates

I have ePorcrates that I use for work. It will no longer update. The supplier says it is a firewall problem. How can I get avast to allow my program to update daily.

avast is not a firewall... it should not block anything, just scan...

Do you have a firewall installed?

If so what? - check its program/application section to see if it has been blocked.

What operating system do you use? Does it help if you stop the Web Shield provider of avast! antivirus?
