Avast has broken Sage Accounting software again
« on: August 03, 2015, 04:33:25 PM »
I have just been on the telephone to support, or to be more precise, on hold for twenty minutes only to be greeted by a sales person that couldn't fix my issue, but could transfer me to a premium service that will solve my problem  I think she said for $76.

Anyone else know which files to add to the exclusion list? because from what I can see Avast seems to be ignoring the exclude commands of all the Sage files and folders that I have found on the workstations and told it to exclude.

The only way I can get it to work is to disable the Avast Pro AV

Here are some entries in the virus chest, funnyt how they all appear as the same type of malware. BTW Avast has for some time stopped the Comodo firewall and browser (Dragon) from updating.
