Issues with Avast Premier and Diablo 3

I hope this is the right subforum. I've recently purchased Avast Premier and have made sure that all Blizzard related entries in the firewall are allowed all connections, but I can't connect my Diablo 3 game. I tried everything Blizzard recommended and the only thing that works is disabling all Avast shields. I really don't want to be so unprotected during a marathon gaming session. Can anyone offer any advice on this?

(also, once I re-enable the shields after I exit Diablo 3, my internet connection is killed and only a computer restart brings it back)

Fixed!!

Had to allow all outbound and all inbound connections and set all packet rules to allow the same.

Had the same problem, and Avaast has a yucky menu, hard to find the settings you need to reconfigure it.
