avast and defender fighting

hi there all,

after installing windows10 I cannot get defender to back down and now my free avast and defender are fighting each to keep my computer clean. Both scan and both detect a problem and both want to solve it with as result it isn't solved and they both detect it again.
Also scans take ten times as long as before (due to them fighting) How the **** do I get defender to back down and make avast my primary virusscanner???

You might need to do a clean install of Avast so the Win10 will detect it and automatically disable Defender.
