     Lol alanrf, I can understand about protecting a valuable source of income, how would people feel if someone hacked their bank accounts and withdrew $40 month without them knowing, or yet still, taking money from their childrens college funds.

     Not to offend anyone, but this kind of mess has to stop, I work for a military contractor and i'm not online selling military hardware secrets to unknown people and will hastly report any violations to the proper authorities if any of my 40 team members decide they can do better by selling our corporation out.

We're already aware of the keygen that is part of this download package. However, this doesn't seem to be a cracked version -- just the official setup program + keygen added...

     Understood, I did'nt know there were so many of these sites, it may be time for some undercover work for the alwil team, I mean infiltrate some of these sites and c whats going on. :o

Well, OK, to sum up.

Is there anyone here who's getting the 0xC0000005 error and at least one of the following conditions is true:

- you're using avast! Home Edition, OR
- you're using avast! Professional Edition and have a LEGALLY acquired license

??

It's a shame that we lost time here trying to solve a problem of cracked installations.
Why do the users take our time, users too, and joke with us? This is ridiculous...  :-* :P

See ALL my posts on both threads and the problems I had - including the error message mentioned and, YES, I have Home Edition on two machines with the problems appearing on both which now seem to be resolved. The fact still remains that these happened to me on both with a legal Home Edition.

Yes - but it was solved by reinstalling in safe mode. Nothing was indicated to say Alwil had made any changes to Avast.
