I have some diffulties how I can validate the correctness of a certificate.
When I go to the webinterface of my bank, the certificate shows up as green (EV Set) and signed by Symantic.
However, when i go to "
https://www.grc.com" which uses, according to the information on the site, also an EV Certificate, I do only see a "not EV" certificate signed by the advast scanner. How can I see the original certificate to validate it manually and why is there a different treatment between the two sites?
I am using the latest Firefox 40.0.2, but this situation was already the case with the older certificats.
