It won't be bad if we have an antiad feature. But, others (many) will argue that there are very good 3rd party tools for that.
Anyway, Edge does not any allow plugins and addons right now.

You can always try to make partnership with AdGuard? Their AdBlocker is the best + protects from malware and phising.  ;)

Pls add this feature.Argue is a very healthy thing to improved a product.I does not need any 3rd party tools for that when avast! will give the ad blocker.

It would just be something else, possibly, to cause conflicts on web sites, browsers and maybe other software. Also remember a lot of web sites and forums dislike adblockers as it reduces revenue.

Unless there is an easy way to turn the adblocker on and off from the desktop then it is just more unnecessary bloat being added to AVAST.

I have the Adblocker+ addon for the two browsers I use already and it takes up no more space than a simple tool bar icon. Just click on that and you get all the adblocking options you should need. Even if AVAST included an adblocker and it worked as unobtrusively as that does it would be nothing more than a like for like replacement. In that case what would be the point of changing it?

May I remind everybody here that we actually had an AdBlocker in an earlier version..!! It caused many problems with other (already installed) AdBlocker(s), guess that was the valid reason why it was removed again... ;)

avast has enough attached bloat, not to mention there are more ad-blocker add-ons than you can shake a stick at out there already.

No thanks. There is plenty ad blockers out there. Besides, the most invasive ads won't show if you use a script blocker like NoScript or ScriptSafe, and only enable Flash and Java when strictly needed.

That's a big fat "NO" from me, there's many good options already available.

Adguard already works with Edge :)
