3 PCs blue-screened caused by AVAST's error
« on: August 21, 2015, 02:53:46 PM »
Hi guys I got three my PCs successively blue screened, one is my workstation (WIN7SP1); one is my HTPC (WIN7SP1) and another one is my new dell's laptop (WIN8.1). Three computer all is protecting by the newest AVAST internet security 2015.
The workstation downed at the morning of August 17th, which blue screened soon after windows start screen. The error code was 0x00000F4 but later changes to c0000021a after I cleared up computer case and golden fingers of both RAMs and video card. The blue screen was a loop, it cannot break unless log in as safe mode. And the HTPC is in the same scenario.
One of Microsoft's engineer said it may caused by incompatibilities between video card and audio interface, the drives, after he analysed the minidump file. However when I was looking up the event of windows system, I found several "warning" about "cannot log in to DNS severs".
Today, the same store began appearing on my new dell's laptop while I was preparing the system for work. After I turn of the AVAST shield, the WIN8.1 blue-screened. But WIN8.1 managed to break the loop and back to normal again. Because I saw the AVAST said "Secure DNS can't run on this network" , and previous memory about the event log in my workstation. I deleted the AVAST from my workstation and restart it, it backs to normal.

Now I'm pretty sure all of those troubles, which wasted my three days, caused by AVAST. I don't know is there have any solution for it, but I'm really hoping a new update can help my out of it.
