Default settings

Hi,   Sorry if this subject is  in another place on the Forums,
Is there a default for settings for Avast free 2015, and how to select this,  and any more general help for settings anywhere, and what   boxes to check  etc, thanks.

If you haven't made any changes then the default settings are in place and the give the best balance between protection and performance. It is advisable to leave avast on the default settings whilst you get used to the program and how it works on your system.

There is an option to Restore factory defaults, AvastUI > Settings > Troubleshooting - scroll down and expand the Restore factory defaults section.

There really are to many individual settings in the various shields, etc. to give a blow by blow description of them.
