Adding a new computer

I have already installed avast on my wife's new laptop but when I go to my account settings it doesn't show,,,is there anyway I can add it to my account without uninstalling and then go throug the reinstalling process,,,,thank,,,I don't know if I'm in the right thread. To ask this.

I have the other user name above,,,i couldn't remember my password when i tried to post this issue.,,my two other computers do show on my account,,,,I am using the free version of avast,,,,thanks

You need to have your wife (or self) link her avast installation to 'your' my.avast.com account.

The installation you did for your with would have to have been connected/linked to a my.avast.com account ?

What happens when you click the AvastUI > Account tab ?
It should connect to a my.avast.com account or have you login to a my.avast.com account.
If it is the latter login using your my.avast.com email and password.
