I have a paid license for Avast Cleanup, bought a little time earler. Received receipts verify that the payment has been sent and accepted. However, my activation key will not be received by Avast (
following this tutorial), no matter how many times I retry to send it.
When the activation key is inserted, the following error message occurs (translated from my native language:
"avast! Information from Avast
The request could not be handled right now, please try again later. [232]"
This error occurred before re-installing Avast Antivirus Free 2015, and afterwards. Since a reinstallation is not the solution, what is? Note that I shut off the automatic renewal of the subscription, but that should not hinder me from accessing a paid-for product.
