Author Topic: Failure with Avast to receive activation key for paid Cleanup license  (Read 2389 times)

I have a paid license for Avast Cleanup, bought a little time earler. Received receipts verify that the payment has been sent and accepted. However, my activation key will not be received by Avast (following this tutorial), no matter how many times I retry to send it.

When the activation key is inserted, the following error message occurs (translated from my native language:



"avast! Information from Avast

The request could not be handled right now, please try again later. [232]"



This error occurred before re-installing Avast Antivirus Free 2015, and afterwards. Since a reinstallation is not the solution, what is? Note that I shut off the automatic renewal of the subscription, but that should not hinder me from accessing a paid-for product.
