Deployment issue
« on: November 11, 2005, 12:32:24 PM »
Hi

having problems deploying the installation package ive created, getting the error "failed access denied, please see the install log for details"

The accounts used are valid on the network and have administrative rights, so would have full read write access. How do how do I find the install log..?

Thanks in advance

I have found that avast uses only the first one on the list.
The list of account names and passwords to use for logging in during remote install. if you list a lot (more than one) account names and passwords, only the first will be tried and if it does not have administrator rights or is not allowed to perform installation it will not retry with other username\password .

So you have to use one that would work for every PC
... In my case that was the case.

Hope i have been usefull!

So, what does the remote install log say?
ADNM console -> View menu -> Show AMS Logs -> Remote install logs.

BTW agonos what exactly do you mean by "...uses only the first one on the list"? Which list, exactly?

Thanks
