I test loads of security software and, as a rule, when I leave my home I switch off wifi and only switch it on when I get to a hotspot I feel confident to use. Today I signed up for the beta testing to improve SecureLine so does that just mean I leave wifi on whilst it scans all available hotspots whilst I'm out and about? I presume it's just probing to register new hotspots where ever I am and that it's not actually connecting compromising my personal data?
