CPU Usage to the extreme
« on: September 08, 2015, 05:42:28 AM »
Hi all,

I have been using the free version of Avast and decided to go for IS. Once I paid and Avast updated, the CPU usage started to get sky high and I cannot even play a Youtube video - constantly breaking! Also even my mouse movement is not proper. It is not all the time, but every 10-15mins may be.

Any solution?
Or shall I ask for my money back?

Win 8.1 running on Lenovo Yoga 2

I don't see what difference would this make...but I give it to you.

Did you fully remove the trial version of McAfee before installing Avast ???
