about avast cleanup
« on: September 10, 2015, 11:18:13 AM »
Hi I just want to know how avast can say they take away unnescessary programs. I am the one to decide what is nescessary. I have a few programs that I use very sparely but I need them all the same. I have not dared use the cleanup since it seems I cannot choose what program to remove.

Best Regards PO Sweden

In addition to your question/comment, I would like to know why I have to pay when Avast says "we challenged ourselves to deliver not only the best PC protection but to boost your PC's performance, as well." Shouldn't the ability to clean up our computers be part of the product, in the first place? Why do we have to pay extra?

I had Avast, free, for one year; since I've had to pay for it, my computer runs slower, pop-ups abound, and in general, I'm much more unhappy with my computer's performance - all things that Avast Cleanup would probably take care of, if I didn't have to pay for it.
