Can't disable DeepScreen
« on: September 24, 2015, 12:55:19 PM »
Good Day,

using the latest version of Avast Internet Security 2015, virus definitions this morning 09:45.
Win 7 Pro, 64 bit

I'm using InnoSetup (5.5.6) to create setups.
I want to test software which I'm writing, install it and uninstall it.

And DeepScreen keeps on popping up.
- I've disabled "DeepScreen" - no changes, DeepScreen still pops up.
- I've disabled "Scan for potentially unwanted programs (PUPs)" - no changes, DeepScreen still pops up.
- I've disabled all shields for 10 minutes - no changes, DeepScreen still pops up.

What is going on?   Why are settings not used / not honored?

This is only slightly irritating when you have this now again.

But today I have to do a lot of tests, and Avast stops me from working.

This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable.
I still have a year left on my licence, but I go and buy some other software.

Thank You & Good Bye

Wolfgang
