Help uninstalling Avast Free AV "for realsies"
« on: September 24, 2015, 10:39:44 PM »
So, I uninstalled avast through the add/remove programs thingy and everything went aparently fine except that the Security Center still says that Avast is still installed and im protected (yay?). So i tried using the uninstall tool and followed all the steps without succes. Again the uninstaller worked without errors but windows still believe avast is running.

I think it has something to do with the registry but i dont want to mess with it by myself. What should i do?

TIA

PS: Sowy for my crappy english.

Thank you for posting the FRST logs.

You have too many AntiVirus installed now.  The logs show that at one time there was the following installed all at once:

Avast!
ClamWin
Eset-Nod32

You should remove them all, use their respective cleanup utility and then install only one of them on your system.
Win7 x32 Ult. SP1, Brain 2.0 / Win10 x64, Brain2.5
My help is always free but if you would like to help encourage me or show your thanks -----> DONATE
