[Solved] Function keys blocked by Avast
« on: September 26, 2015, 11:23:59 AM »
Hi all,

I recently switched to Windows 10 and I noticed that Avast (free home edition) blocks the usage of my function keys.
I'm 100% sure it comes from Avast because when I start the computer, the 20 seconds before Avast starts my function keys work (meaning I can enable/disable my loudspeaker and use all the other functions by pressing the "fn" keys).
Once tha A.V. starts and the icon appears, it's over, the function keys are disabled.

Note that my BIOS settings are OK, my drivers all are up to date. I saw on forums that I'm from far not the only one having this issue but I'd like to keep my Avast AV.
I assume there must be any setting or exception to set in order to allow the process related to the fuction keys to work. Could you please help me getting this fixed?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Update: Finally Avast is maybe not in cause as I tried Avira and still have the same issue. As soon as the antivirus starts my function keys are not working anymore.

Shenko.
