Hi dbrisendine,
you mentioned that SafeZone shortcut was removed. Are you using Free or Premium version of the Beta?
Links for downloading the install are dead?  Anyone else having problems with this?

The update from 10.4.2xxx went fine but would like to have the download anyway.

SafeZone shortcut on desktop was removed by the update (only issue so far that no one else has reported).

I was using Internet Security BETA.  It installed over the 10.4.223x BETA and went down hill from there.  I think that the SecureDNS blocked my wireless adapter custom DNS settings (I use some other than my ISP's).  Each reboot of my system made matters worse until I removed the BETA, used the BETA AvastClear and reinstalled the IS BETA.  Same results; Internet access blocked (no DNS servers found was the result of the Win10 MS TroubleShooter).  Changed to standard DNS settings (Obtain DNS address automatically) with same issue of losing the Internet connectivity.  I am using a wireless router hard wired to a bridged ISP modem/router (if this makes any difference to the DNS routing).

Sorry but had to remove the BETA as I have to have Internet access to assist users with malware removal.

Question regarding the Avast Passwords.
Is it the same Avast EasyPass or a new one and is it free?
Can i migrate my Lastpass details onto this Avast Passwords yet?

Kinda love the new looks and options, Wanna know about the features in detail. :D

Hi Charvin :)

The answers are already given in this topic :

Avast Passwords will be free. We will add some premium features, but they aren't ready for beta yet.

You will be able to import your passwords from EasyPass.

Since I've installed this Beta on my 'Laptop A' only, I'm still astonished: did anybody of the Devs had one idea concerning the lot of avast! users, who are behind 70 years old and using '10.4.2233 free'?
I'm coaching seniors since years and can't offer them this product!

Hi, so did you try turning SecureD s off? Did that help?

There are no significant changes in the way how SecureDNS works now when compared to the latest official release (10.4).

If turning securedns resolves your problems I'd really like to know more about your dns setup. We might be able to detect such cases and tune Securedns to work in such cases as well.

Passwords ain't a free product and there are no options to import LastPass Credentials.
Will stick with Lastpass since it Gives Access Any Where function without the need of paying any thing. Can install on Any System any where and just log into your lastpass account and all details are there. Simply.

Was expecting something like that, but well, It just turned out to be EasyPass re named and the price line to too huge compared to the fact that can get all the functions for free with lastpass any way.

Sorry there avast! That was not a nice move. :)
Good Looks though. Nice interface on the SecureZone browser and the password manager.

Avast Passwords with synchronisation across devices will be for free! Forever!
There are going to be premium features, avast will introduce them later. That price you see in market is for premium and honestly I'm not sure if it is final one.
Avast Passwords will offer import from cvs file as it is Easy pass capability so if Last Pass or any other can export your credentials to text file you can just simply modify it to import them into Avast Passwords. This functionality is not yet finished but will be there in final release for sure.

1. First attempt to install over 2015 version and on next reboot, after logging in, blank screen forever with disk activity in background. Tested twice.
2. Clean installation and the setup crashed.

Not yet the products page shows Passwords listed with a price while easy pass is not shown, Will wait until the options roll in and if passwords provide sync across all devices and also a cloud storage option then it would be fine. If cloud storage option is not feasible to be provided for free users then give an option to use a cloud service such as Gdrive, One Drive or Drop Box as a Storage option with some strong Encryption. That can take the load out of avast! servers.

You raised a question, I don't seem to have that problem. You also haven't expanded on the problem.
As David suggested this should probably be discussed in it's own topic. :)
