Avast Registry Scan
« on: October 11, 2015, 05:08:07 AM »
Hello,

I just upgraded avast so i could use the performance clean up section. Located under scan "Scan for performance issues". Avast recommended that I do so and that they could free much quite a bit of space on my hard drive.

after running the clean up it did exactly what they said and I had an additional 15 or so GB on the hard drive free.  Once completing the process they suggested that i do a Registry Scan.  I agreed and started the scan.  I was prompted to restart my computer after doing so and once everything was back up and running i checked my hard drive space and I now have an additional 28 GB of space on the hard drive.

Is this normal? what can I do to get back that space?
