Chrome and MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit? (Off Topic) [Resolved]
« on: October 10, 2015, 07:16:29 PM »
MBAE works fine in Firefox, at least I get the notification that "Firefox and add-ons are protected".
In Chrome I don't get the notification. I have uninstalled and clean installed MBAE and still no
notification in Chrome.

Any one else?
I ask because I know of several users who have Chrome as their default browser.

Firefox is my default browser but I still use Chrome for certain tasks.

Did that. MBAM said to try the new MBAE beta. Did a clean install. Still not working in Chrome.  ::)

I assume you have PM'd Pedro (the developer) and supplied MBAE logs for him to review. :)

Chrome is my default browser and MBAE is working fine here, shows that Chrome is protected in the logs. I am using version 1.08.1.1031

I have tried several things. On the MBAM forums they said it was a CFW glitch and they have contacted Comodo.
I even tried their work around which didn't work. I have even uninstalled v1.08 beta and deleted the MBAE folder
and installed v1.07.1.1010 and it still doesn't work. It appears I'll just have to wait until the glitch is fixed in either
MBAE or CFW.

@ digmor crusher   My MBAE doesn't show any activity in the MBAE logs concerning Chrome.

Solved it...uninstalled Comodo Firewall completely.
Now running Windows Firewall.
