on my W2K PC when I attempt to execute a 16bit program I have been using for some time
and never had a problem with avast..
I now have for a number of weeks been getting the following MS msg.

avast\aswMonVd.dll . an installable Virtual driver failed Dll initialization.
choose close to terminate the application..

I can also choose ignore ..which works ... but I'm wondering if the problem is from
W2K or Avast.. ?

any suggestions or opinions ??

Have you try searching the board for aswMonVd.dll?
Maybe you find a solution and help.
