This application has only been around since 2004 and quite well vetted by tens of millions of users. It would be nice if you could put just a tiny bit more scrutiny towards false positives on such popular and long-lived applications that would be great

And what makes you believe it is a false positive ?
It doesn't matter how long a certain software exists, it can always get infected.
