Well, if it is really a malware, why don't you clean your computer?
If it is not (a false positive, then), better is to report here: http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php

I don't see a reason to tone it down.
The messages are there to alert the administrator of the client systems that there is something wrong/what is going on.
A good administrator would be happy he is getting the messages.
Checking them is just a part of his job.

If you mean you get an email every time there is a notification, I think I understand what you mean.  I am not sure if Avast sends notifications for EVERY event or if it sends a daily summary for example (I don't get enough malware to know).  A weekly summary might be a good feature request!

Should be easy enough to set up an email rule to put notifications in a separate folder if you get a lot.

Maybe you need to also start blocking some websites from users to reduce the malware :D

That's what I mean - you are right of course - I can create an email rule - but I don't really want to kill it all off, just like it to be more relevant

Hi Guys,

The notification system is slated for a Q4 2015 update. This should allow for configuration options so you can set what you want and don't want to receive.
This could change if issues are found so don't hold me to that timeframe please :)

Thanks!

Jeff
